# Water Roads

> Water Roads is a zero-emission water metro transport service launching in Sydney, Australia, in 2026. It uses electric hydrofoil vessels to provide a faster, cleaner, and more cost-effective alternative to traditional urban transport, turning underutilised waterways into high-capacity transit corridors.

Water Roads is a CBS Group initiative, combining over 40 years of infrastructure expertise with proven marine technology to create a new category of urban mobility. Our vision is to establish metro-level transport connections on waterways in congested, water-bound cities worldwide.

## Sydney 2026 Project (Flagship Route)

The service will run every 6 minutes during peak times with a 95% on-time reliability target and will integrate with Sydney's Opal card system.

This technology enables our vessels to fly above the water, reducing energy consumption by 85% and creating 95% less wake than conventional ferries.
